VIDEO: DAVID GRAHAM INSURANCE LAW – MOLD DAMAGE
At the time of hiring Uknighted Media, David Graham Insurance Law lacked video content. The only video produced was a low budget and outdated video. After successfully producing a Hurricane Irma Damage video for their firm and a client testimonial, we consulted with them on the idea of producing videos for their areas of practice on their website.
After conducting a media and marketing audit on their firm, we decided it’d be best to produce several practice area videos that are engaging and informative, as well as producing an “About Us” video and a “Thank You” video that would be on the thank you page on the law firm’s website after a user fills out their form and is then redirected. These videos were produced and edited in a way to cater specifically to website visitors. The videos were taken a step further and cut down to 30-second versions for social media with “Call to Actions” to “Learn More” which would redirect users to that specific landing page associated with the full-length practice area video.
Doing this allowed us to drive more traffic by attracting social media users to the firm’s website and added an extra element to their website that was previously non-existent.

Law Firm Video Marketing and Production
We’ve spent an extensive amount of time researching the legal field and market. From the types of users to target, where to target them, how to target them, and what type of content to use to target them. In order for us to understand what type of content to produce we need to understand the firm we’re working with, their competitors, and their market.
What are your competitors doing locally? What are they doing statewide? Nationwide? Where do their and your clients come from? Where are they and you pushing video content and advertisements? Where are they and you getting calls from? Where are their your website visitors coming from? Data is content’s best friend.
These are just several of the many questions we ask you and ourselves and are crucial in not just law firm marketing and video production but also in a general sense. We need to understand the in’s and out’s of your field and your competition. The legal field is a very aggressive and competitive market, and we’re prepared to go tooth and nail against it with you.
The types of video content we noticed are the most important:
- Reviews: Honest Client Testimonials to showcase successful clients and previously won cases.
- Educational Videos: Practice Area Videos that are informative and provides value.
- Narrative/Documentary: Videos that tell and share stories, invoke emotional responses, and create a connection.
Show reviews and happy clients, educate users on the area of law that applies to their situation, and tell stories rather than sell services. Let your happy clients talk for you. Share stories. Remembering this one sentence and it will change the way your law firm marketing and video production:
No one wants a lawyer. They need a lawyer.
No one is going on Facebook looking for a lawyer. They’re going to Google, Bing, or Yelp for that. They go on social media to connect with friends and look at funny videos of cats and epic fail videos. We’re not saying don’t push content on social media. We highly recommend you do. What we’re saying is you should audit your approach in what type of content you promote and where you place said content. No one is opening the Facebook app, going to the search bar, and typing “Lawyers near me”. They’re going to do that on Google, Bing, or Yelp. What they’re more inclined to do on Facebook is creating a post to their friends asking for “lawyer recommendations” to which their friends will list law firms they’ve worked with or people they know to be honest and reputable.
We’re going to get more into law firm marketing and video production on a separate post educating law firms and lawyers how to approach marketing their firms and adding video into the mix.
